Probably to my detriment I usually take option 2 as it's easier. Also I don't believe that having positive energy necessarily brings positive results.

The one who accepts and moves forward is definitely better off. But then there are 3 ways to deal with this.

1. To dwell on the negative situation, which then snowballs and only worsens it because of the continuous addition of the same energy into it.

2. To just shrug it off and give it no further thought. Neutral.

3. To actively forget it and direct one's thoughts and energy into positive and pleasant thoughts which by law creates positive energy and actual positive circumstances, thus creating greater chances of a quick turnaround in the current situation.

Now, I sound like Abraham Hicks. But that's the truth anyway.

I've always believed that positive thoughts created positive outcomes. The reverse is true of negative thoughts. Let's take as an example that you have two people who both suffer something negative in their life. Let's say something didn't go the way they wanted causing them to lose money. One of them goes off the deep end yelling and swearing causing them to lose time and creating even more negativity which snowballs causing even more things to go wrong.

The other shrugs his shoulders, accepts it for what it is and gets on with life, leaving his friend behind raging like a wounded bull. Who is better off?
