I started with products from Amazon that my research showed had considerable google search based traffic. I have a separate website intended just for these. And it’s html/PHP, not wordpress, because it contains only less than 20 pages. Initially, it took over 3 months before I reached the minimum for check payment. Now, the monthly checks are actually not much, but it helped boast my confidence about the possibility of earning online. Now, I’ve a mind to try to ‘rinse and repeat’ (a phrase a lot of webmasters use which I assume means do the same sequence of procedures for another product).

The product I’m promoting are related to computer peripherals.

At least you're earning enough to receive checks from them James, I still haven't reached that threshold yet. I remember a past from Darren Rowse, yes that was when I used to read his blog, where he complained about the same thing, and you can imagine the size of his checks. Hi Math, it’s not this blog. It’s the ‘other sites’ that I talked about in my ‘experiment‘ post. And it’s all got to do with a keywords research method I learned along the way.

The earnings are not that much as of now, but I’m working on it with whatever time I could muster after office hours.

Wow, an earning affiliate publisher here! Did you get your affiliate commissions from your other sites or on this site? What sites are they? It’s a major pain when you have to wait on commission checks to arrive and is exactly why I love affiliate programmes that pay by PayPal or other instant (online) payment processor.

At least you got your check at last.
