The number of comments near each commentator? Actually, I didn’t do anything. I believe it’s an effect brought by Lucia’s Linky Love plugin. The plugin counts the number of comments made by a commenter so that when it reaches 3 (or whatever you set), it ‘DoFollows’ each of that commenter’s name-link henceforth.
